Engineered for Real Bodies, Not Brackets

Designed for a high-fashion oversized fit with 8 to 12 inches (20 to 30 cm) of positive ease built into the shaping. This is intentional. The pattern is graded to Craft Yarn Council standards to maintain proportional fit and drape across all seven sizes. Measure the fullest part of your chest, find that number in the "Your Chest" column of the Fit Guide in the photo carousel, and work that size.

The Yarn

Two chunky/bulky yarns (Category 5) in two colors. Any workhorse or big-box chunky qualifies; this fabric doesn't need luxury skeins. Look for a recommended hook size of 7 to 9mm on the label. Light but chunky constructions (chainette or puño) work especially well.

Your exact amounts for both colors, by size, are on the Yarn Specs card in the photo carousel. Total yardage runs 2,020 to 4,040 yards depending on size, split across the two colors.

Gauge

12 stitches by 12 physical rows over a 4-inch (10 cm) square in pattern. Swatch with both yarns before you start. The pattern walks you through a Target Swatch and a No-Gap Engineering Check to confirm you're on gauge before committing to a full panel.

Skill Level

Adventurous beginner through intermediate. The brioche stitch is a yarn-over slip stitch worked into the front or back loop, and the individual stitches are simple. The architecture is what makes this pattern, and video tutorials walk you through every step that needs one.
